Context
Mixlog aims to create enjoyable experiences for DJs of any experience level by offering a simple UI to save and create Combos, manage your digital and analogue assets, and take your music data anywhere you go so you can capture your ideas whenever.
In order to create a unique and innovative DJ Sidekick app that’s fun, beloved by DJs, and allows them to grow through awesome sounding Combos…
- … we need your honest feedback on how it feels to prepare, manage, imagine and play with Mixlog in a DJ setting, with friends, or even in the couch.
- … we want to understand your struggles and problems in your quest to get amazing gigs and become the best DJ you can dream of.
- … we want to hear your opinion on how and why (not) a true independent network of Combos can become a valued tool in the hands of the global DJ community.
- … and we’d like to know your wildest ideas on new workflows and collaborations that will become possible if we manage to launch this project globally together.

How to help
1. Reflect on your expectations
<aside>
✅
In order to help, consider this checklist before you start:
- You’re a DJ, right?
(As in: you have music, access to gear, or at least some experience)
- You have 10-20 minutes to check a guide and export/import music data?
- You’re fine with using an app that does not Mix music but rather stores choices?
- You know that we’re still testing this early-stage and there will be a few bugs
- You’re willing to write us constructive feedback at some point?
→ If the answer is no to any of these questions, please do not proceed with testing.
